Watchfire Introduces 12mm Digital Billboards Designed for Close-up Viewing

Watchfire is introducing a 12mm digital billboard to deliver the company’s highest resolution for up-close viewing.  The new 12mm digital billboard is designed to provide high resolution and superior brightness with low power requirements for outdoor operators in high density metro areas.

Watchfire digital billboards offer 73.7 quintillion colors and feature whole-sign calibration and automated diagnostics. As with all Watchfire signs and billboards, the 12mm models have fully encapsulated modules to protect the electronic components from moisture and other contaminants to ensure maximum performance and long life.

Watchfire’s signature through-hole mount technology offers the highest image quality and durability on the market. The 12mm model delivers an optimal balance of brightness (7500 NITs) and energy efficiency. It produces images 1.5 times brighter than some surface-mount models and provides 32-53 percent energy cost savings to increase return on investment. Beveled module construction delivers near-seamless installation, even around curves.

In addition, the 12mm module uses the same 12” x 12” form factor as the 19mm module. Standardizing the module size makes it possible for owners of 19mm Watchfire billboards to upgrade to the high resolution 12mm modules when the need arises.

Watchfire’s new 12mm digital billboard joins the company’s line of True-16mm, True-19mm and E-16mm digital billboard products. These resolution options ensure the company has choices designed to suit almost any need.
