Your Digital Campaign is a Winner! Time to Enter Watchfire’s 2016 Digital Billboard Awards
Watchfire Digital Outdoor, manufacturer of the best looking, most reliable digital billboards, is seeking agencies and advertisers who use the unique capabilities of digital outdoor displays in creative ways.
Submit your entries for consideration in our second annual Digital Billboard Awards, which honor the best advertising on a digital billboard. The Watchfire Digital Billboard Awards are the first and only program of its kind.
The 2016 Watchfire Digital Billboard Awards are open to all agencies and advertisers with media buys on digital billboards from any manufacturer. Watchfire will judge entries on the inventive ways that advertisers use digital billboards in the execution of ads in 2015.
A digital billboard advertising campaign featuring live tweets and photos posted during the Penn State–Lehigh Valley commencement landed Tri Outdoor, Inc. of Bethlehem, Penn., the Best of Show award in the 2015 Watchfire Digital Billboard Awards. The “Onsite Tweet Penn State” campaign featured a clean and legible design that showcased live Twitter and Instagram posts.
“Digital outdoor offers advertisers unique features that static billboards don’t, including dynamic and conditional content that can make messages timely, hyper local, and extremely relevant,” said Darrin Friskney, Watchfire’s vice president of marketing. “We want to recognize agencies and brands that are leveraging the innovative and winning qualities that only digital can deliver. Digital billboards are the only mass medium that offers this type of highly personalized communication.”

The entry period for the 2016 Digital Billboard Awards opened January 6, 2016 with a deadline for submissions of midnight, March 23, 2016. Winners will be announced April 5 and trophies will be awarded. There is no cost to enter.
