Kwik Stop, North Platte, NE

Kwik Stop, a privately held convenience store chain based in North Platte, Neb., chose Watchfire to provide digital signage at 27 C-store locations across the Great Plains.

A double-faced 4’ x 6’ 10mm Watchfire display will be installed at each Kwik Stop location in Nebraska and Colorado, replacing old manual copy boards. Several of the chain’s 24/7 stores also added Watchfire’s Price Watcher™ gas price signs, known for their legendary uptime, high visibility, and low lifetime cost.

Condon Signs of North Platte, Neb., designed, sold, and installed the signs.

"Watchfire has been around a long time, and they manufacture really reliable signs," said Chad Condon, owner of Condon Signs. "If we need support, their service after the sale is better than any other manufacturer."

The new digital displays advertise in-store discounts and promotions. Vibrant digital gas price signs attract passing traffic by clearly advertising price per gallon. Kwik Stop will also use the Watchfire displays to localize each store by rotating messages to support local events and sports teams.

"Our old signs were an eye-sore, and we worried that this could cause potential customers to skip a visit," said Sean O'Neill, Kwik Stop's director of business development. "Now, our signage is clean, modern, and crisp. Our stores have great curb appeal."

O'Neill uses Watchfire's Ignite OPx® cloud-based software to program all signs from a single location. Store managers use a designated email address to request messages they would like displayed, and O'Neill creates and schedules them. Because of the area's snowy climate, dependable and easily updated signs are essential.

"All I need to update our signs is an internet connection," said O'Neill. "The signs are easy to update and very reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend them."
