Watch this video to learn the best practices for photographing LED signs.
By understanding a few concepts and making adjustments to your camera’s settings, your LED sign photographs can improve significantly. There are three main aspects of the camera that we’ll be working with:
Shutter speed – how quickly your camera takes a photo
ISO – your camera’s sensitivity to light
Aperture – controls how much light is let into the camera’s sensor
If your camera features a Shutter Priority Mode, usually listed as “Tv” or “S” on the camera dial, it should make your job a lot easier.
If you must shoot in full manual mode, don't worry, the tips in this video will help you to better understand how to set your camera up to take great pictures of your newly installed LED sign projects.
And remember to share those photos with us for a chance to win $1000 AND get your work on the cover of our next catalog. Learn more at watchfiresigns.com/signawards
